Current Levee Problems solved by Jim Boudreaux’s Flood Levee Barrier Protection System

1. Liquidified Zone beneath the wedge toe
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem mud inside of steel boxes lowers as needed at the bottom. Add more mud on top to refill the steel boxes.
2. Animal burrow
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem can’t burrow thru steel and concrete.
3. Levee shifting
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem when mud beneath the steel boxes suddenly shifts from beneath the steel boxes, the steel boxes will automatically slide downward along it’s pipes which are stationed on each of it’s four conners. Simply by adding another steel box on top of the existing steel box that has slide downward, you will regain the original height.
4. Internal erosion (piping)
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem the mud is on the inside of the steel boxes and
is constantly causing a downward pressure moving downward.
5. Surface erosion
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem the surface of the levee system is contained
within the steel boxes, therefore not allowing the mud to be pushed backwards. While being
protected from the surge by steel boxes. Front, Back and Sides.
6. Overtopping
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem when water overtops this system, is does not
weaken this system. The system adjusts to the force of the water as well as the water pressure.
7. Destructive Objects
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem when any object contacts this system, it is met
with 4 steel walls and 4 steel pipes of resistance. The system becomes a total package similar to a
concrete slab of a house. The package works together to resist the force of the water, as well as
the weight of the water.
8. Height adjustment
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem with this system, simply add another steel box
on top of the existing steel box and maintain height needed at all times
9. Base width
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem with this system, you determine the base width
needed to construct a levee. Because it is a steel box levee system, the strength ratio has increase
drasticly. You do not need the wide base to have the same strength.
10. Mud levee
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem this system is an armored steel structural
barrier levee system within a mud levee.
11. Maintenance of levee
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem this system has minimal maintenance to do.
This system is not constantly being eroded away and need replacement as mud levee do
12. Cost of levee
a. The Jim Boudreaux system corrects this problem the cost of the levee includes the building and
repairing of the system when it breaches or breaks or need repairs. That is the true total cost.
