    Your router's IP address is the same as Default Gateway. You can also see the MAC address for each network adapter (it's called the Physical Address) but make sure you note down the address for the right adapter (if there are several laptops will usually have two, one for WiFi and one for Ethernet) by looking at its description.

    Type this IP address into a web browser’s address bar, preceded by http:// and log in with the username and password you set, or look in the manual or on the router itself for the defaults.

    When you find the right page, you might see a list of connected computers, or you might have to select your computer from a list, or enter its IP or MAC address manually.

  • No:11368 *Static IP addresses are more reliable for Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP), more reliable to host a gaming website or to play XBox, Play Station, use Virtual Private Network for secure access to files from your company network computer, etc. Static IP addresses are also great if you use your computer as a server, as it should give your file server faster file uploads and downloads. Another plus with Static IP's, when hosting a website you are not sharing your IP with another company who sends out a lot of Email SPAM and not only has their website been shut down but in turn gets your IP address blacklisted.

    *In contrast a static IP address can become a security risk, because the address is always the same. Static IP's are easier to track for data mining companies. Static IP addressing is less cost effective than Dynamic IP Addressing.

    １，在桌面上的“网上邻居”上右击，点击属性。
    ２，在打开窗口上的“本地连接”上右击，再次点击属性。
    ３，双击下图窗口红框中的“Internet协助（TCP/IP)”，再设置为“使用下面的IP地址”，下方也将自动跳到“使用下面的DNS服务器地址”。
    4，点击“开始”－“运行”，输入“cmd”并回车，然后在打开的命令提示符窗口中输入“ipconfig /all”并回车，然后我们将相应项的对应值填入前面的设置固定IP地址的窗口中即可.


    a，IP地址：此处我们可以输入我们想设置的固定IP地址值，但是前面三位是不能变的，一般均为192.168.1，后面那位数可以填入任意2255之间的任意数字，不过不能填写别的电脑已经占用的IP地址，我们填入IP Address后的值也可以，填入任意别的我们想要设置的IP地址也可以。
    b，子网掩码：填入上图左边黑色窗口中的Subnet Mask，一般为255.255.255.0
    c，默认网关：填入Default Gateway值，一般为192.168.1.1
    d，首选DNS服务器：填入DNS Servers后面的值。
    e，备用DNS服务器：填入DNS Servers的第二个值，即下面那一行的值。
